Jack and I had been dating for almost four years before we got engaged but it bothered me that some people placed our engagement on the years we've been together rather than us being ready. So many of my high school classmates are getting married and I wonder how many of them are doing it because they think that's what they have to do. Kinda scary. Btw, parents always have different opinions on things. I'm pretty sure if my sister wanted to get married before me my parents would have some reservations about her marrying before me. (she's younger) It’s so refreshing to hear someone else who believes that marriage should not be entered into unless the two are ready.
